Justice for Victims: Cross-cultural perspectives on conflict, trauma and reconciliation

The World Society of Victimology, together with the International Victimology Institute (INTERVICT) Tilburg, Victim Support Europe and the Leuven Institute of Criminology (LINC), are pleased to invite you to participate in the 14th International Symposium of the World Society of Victimology which will be organised from 20 untill 24 May 2012 in the World Forum in The Hague, The Netherlands.
At the symposium, victimology scholars, researchers, practitioners, teachers, and students from around the world are welcome to examine and discuss current and emerging issues in the field.
The official language of the symposium will be English. Simultaneous interpretation will be provided in Spanish during each of the plenary sessions. Interpretation in workshops and panel sessions will not be included but workshops and panel sessions completely in French or Spanish are possible.
The symposium will be preceded by an Introduction to Victimology on 15 and 16 May 2012. The course will be given in English.
We hope to see you in the Hague in May next year.
