Registration information
With financial support from the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Symposium Management is able to offer a financial grant to participants coming from Lower Income,Lower-middle Income en Upper-middle Income Economies. See the PDF-file for more information.

The WSV members’ fee is applicable only if you are a member of WSV at the time of registration. The fee will not be applied if you become a member of WSV after registering for the symposium. For information on how to become a member of WSV, visit the website of the World Society of Victimology.
Invoice
An invoice will be sent to you by e-mail (PDF). At this moment it is not possible to pay with a credit card. As Symposium Management received requests for this possibility it is being organized to facilitate this. We will keep you posted about the date this will be installed via the Symposium website and newsletter.

- Participation in the Site Visits on Wednesday 23 May
- Refreshments during breaks between sessions
Lunch on Monday - Thursday and attendance to the Closing Dinner on Thursday are not included in the registration fee.
One-day symposium registration includes:
- Name badge
- Printed symposium materials
- Attendance to all sessions on the day of attendance (21, 22 or 23/24 May)
- Refreshments during breaks between sessions
Site visits are not included in the one-day registration for 23/24 May.
Lunch and attendance to the Closing Dinner is not included in the one-day registration fee.

International transactions |
| Completing a transaction across borders often involves extra costs. Please be advised to contact your bank and give the order that costs for the transactions will be borne by you solely (no shared cost transaction!). The exact conference fee has to be deposited into the account of the 14th Symposium WSV (bank account number on the invoice). |

| For payments within Europe (including Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Switzerland and Monaco), please note the following conditions: • the payment should be done in Euros • IBAN (international bank account number) and BIC (bank identifier code) are compulsory |
Confirmation
Upon receiving the registration and confirmation of the payment, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with a link to your e-ticket. Please print out the e-ticket in the confirmation e-mail and present it at the registration desk at the symposium site when you arrive.
Cancellation policy
Refunds or credits will not be given for failure to attend, late arrival or unattended events. The WSV is not responsible for airfare, housing, or other costs incurred by participants in the event of programme or registration cancellation. Please note, in the event that the 14th International Symposium of the World Society of Victimology is abbreviated or canceled because of circumstances beyond the organisers' control, including, but not limited to, natural disaster, electrical outage, explosion, fire, strike or labor or social unrest, an act of war, terrorism, or the act of any government (de facto or de jure), the organisers reserve the right, in consultation with the WSV Executive Committee, to unilaterally terminate the symposium. In these circumstances, the registrant expressly agrees to waive any claim that he, she, or it may have against the organisers and the WSV for damages or compensation, including, but not limited to, fees for registration, housing, airfare, and/or incidental charges.
If you wish to cancel your registration and would like to receive reimbursement for your registration fee, you must send a written notification of your cancellation to the Symposium Organising Committee. Refunds will be made according to the guidelines outlined below. All refunds will be made after May 2012.
Amount of refund:
- Until 31 January 2012: 75% of amount paid;
- Between 1 February and 31 March 2012: 50% of amount paid;
- From 1 April 2012: No refund.
